Andrea lives in New Hartford, CT and has been working with clay and with Expressions since 1978. Drawn to (and challenged by) the unpredictability of the pottery process, she loves seeing concepts evolve and find their color, never quite sure of what will result. Her work is diverse, from gas-fired functional stoneware to more decorative and often sculptural raku pieces. She prefers the effects of these more atmospheric firings where so many variables come into play.

Her work is always on display at the Expressions Gallery and can also be found at the Flanders Nature Center Artisan Market in Woodbury, CT, during the months of November and December.
