Spring has sprung; leaves are popping and it's time for planting! Expressions Pottery Workshop will host its annual Perennials and Pots sale from 10am - 4pm. Here you will find garden inspired handmade pottery and beautiful perennials from the members' gardens.

Our potters have created new and exciting pieces for your home and garden. Come find inspiration for your gardens and outdoor living spaces and discover ways to bring the outside in with garden art, bird houses, vases, planters, platters, serving bowls, and so much more! For those with a green thumb, beautiful seasoned perennials grown locally in the potters' own gardens will be on sale for remarkably reasonable prices!

Empty Bowls Fundraiser - Art and Soup!

Fall: Saturday, October 5th

Every fall, Expressions Pottery Workshop participates in the Empty Bowls fundraiser, a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food-related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities. Our event is organized by the Friend to Friend Food Pantry of East Granby and is held at the East Granby Community Center to benefit the East Granby Food Pantry.

Attendees select from one of over 400 beautiful, handmade soup bowls, made by Expressions Pottery Workshop members and students. They will be served delicious soups masterfully prepared by Chef Stefan Drago, resident of East Granby and owner of Drago's Kitchen in Granby, and will be entertained by live folk music band, Allendale Rose, featuring Ruth George, Cece Borjeson, Kevin Gallagher, and Paula Alderette. and given a raffle ticket for a gift certificate to Expressions’ gallery. Attendees can then visit the Expressions Pottery studio and gallery at 9 School Street for wheel-throwing demonstrations and to pick up their complimentary pumpkin from Peter L. Brown Siding, Window & Roofing Co.

Extended holiday shopping hours are available, from 10am - 4pm starting the Friday after Thanksgiving through the Sunday before Christmas.
