I took my first pottery class in the summer of 2006, right before I had my first child, Ryan. I loved this new found way to create, but after I became a mother I couldn't find the time for myself. Then one day in 2008, at my sister in law's party, I spoke with a medium. My son was now two and I was pregnant with my daughter, Morgan. This medium told me that I wasn't living to my potential. When I asked for clarification, I was told that I had potential in ceramics and if I went back to it, I would eventually start my own business teaching. After that I signed up for more classes and have had my hands in clay ever since. I'm passionate about the wheel but I also hand-build when inspiration strikes. I love using color with my art and try new things all the time, so none of my pieces are alike. Recently I've begun teaching classes here at Expressions and I'm having a blast!
