I have been a potter for over 25 years. How time flies! I began throwing pottery as a way to relieve the stress of a demanding job. After work, I’d go to the studio, wedge some clay and slowly feel the stress of the day slip away. I became hooked.

Now, when I throw pottery, I feel like a child. As the wet clay covers my hands and clothes, I explore shapes, colors and styles playfully and without judgment. This feeling of freedom is reflected in my often whimsical, free flowing vases and mugs, and in my glaze choices on large platters.
